Join Rob Kendrew for a weekly exploration of the whole wide landscape of alt.country, roots, folk/blues and soul-based tunes, with and without a twang. Rob’s show looks in detail at the artists, bands, dynasties, outlaws, traditionalists of the Americana scene, making some fascinating links with the past and present, the ‘over there and then’ and the right here and now. So grab a chair on the porch, pour yourself a glass of Jack (responsibly, of course), put on your cowboy hat and Nudie Suit (look it up!) and rest your boots on the balustrade as you listen to two hours of some of the finest rootsy tunes.
